NCBA’s Donation Stop to All For Won Boys Club

Residents across Anguilla were treated to a colourful and spirited procession on Saturday, 18th April 2026, as the National Commercial Bank of Anguilla (NCBA) carried its ongoing 10th anniversary celebrations onto the island’s roads with a carefully choreographed motorcade that blended festivity with community outreach.

The motorcade, one of several activities commemorating a decade of NCBA’s operations, set off from the bank’s St. Mary’s Street Branch in The Valley, where participants assembled before embarking on a route that would wind through communities from west to east and back again. Vehicles, organised in a striking sequence of purple, light blue, and green, created a moving display that drew attention and curiosity along the route, offering residents a visible reminder of the institution’s milestone.

From The Valley, the procession moved steadily through George Hill and on to South Hill, where its first major stop brought a more personal dimension to the day’s proceedings. At Greig’s Trucking, the motorcade paused in support of the All For Won Boys Club initiative. During this stop, a donation of US$500 was presented to the All For Won Club, reinforcing NCBA’s stated commitment to youth development and community partnerships.

The journey then continued westward, looping past the scenic Meads Bay area and Malliouhana before turning back towards Lower South Hill. As the motorcade advanced, it transitioned into its southern leg, passing through Spring Path and Blowing Point, and travelling along the Jeremiah Gumbs Highway en route back towards The Valley. The steady movement of vehicles, accompanied by honking horns and waving participants, lent a celebratory rhythm to communities along the way.

The motorcade pressed on into its northern leg. From Stoney Ground, the procession travelled through Little Dix and Bad Cox before making its way into Island Harbour, ensuring that residents in the eastern districts were equally included in the day’s events.

The final stretch carried the motorcade through White Hill, East End, Sandy Hill, Long Path, and The Quarter, gradually circling back towards The Valley. By the time the procession reached its concluding point at the Raymond E. Guishard Technical Centre, it had effectively traced a broad loop around the island, symbolically connecting communities in a shared moment of recognition.

While modest in scale, the motorcade’s island-wide reach underscored a larger message: that NCBA’s ten-year journey is intertwined with the communities it serves. For many onlookers, the passing convoy was more than a celebratory display—it was a reminder of the bank’s presence in everyday life, from personal banking to community support initiatives.
