Contestant #1
The contestants for this year’s Miss Anguilla Pageant were revealed at Leon’s at Meads Bay on the afternoon of Sunday, April 26th. The five beauties added an exquisite feature to the regular Sunday afternoon lime adventure, known as “Leon’s Sunday Fun-day”.
Vying for the coveted Carnival Queen title, under the theme “Once Upon a Queen”, the beautiful bevy young ladies entered with a vibrant dance and were introduced by the reigning Queen, Ms. Jasmin Jade Ruan, before they individually introduced themselves.

The identity of the competitors are as follows: Contestant #1 Akéma Carty; Contestant #2 Sharianne Francis; Contestant #3 Amelia Olivaccé; Contestant #4 Ashelly Derich; and Contestant #5 Kishante Connor-Carty.
Earlier on Sunday, the Miss Anguilla Pageant contestants attended the church service at the Pro-Cathedral of St. Mary Anglican Church, taking a moment for reflection, faith, and community.
The Miss Anguilla Pageant takes place on Sunday July 26th and Wednesday August 5th. In preparation for the event, the contestants will participate in a series of activities, including developmental sessions as they progress on their journey to the coveted crown.
