The Leeward Islands Masters Tournament will be played this weekend.  Matches will be played at the JRWP and at Sandy Ground playing field.

 

Anguilla Nationals 2012

On Saturday 19th May, the 2012 National Track and Field Championships which were to be staged at the Ronald Webster Park, had to be postponed when ominous clouds bearing lots of water inundated the park.  The rains came just as the 150m meter races were about to start.    Consequently the remaining events were staggered during the week.

 

The long jump, 200m and 400m dashes were held  on Monday. The results of the 800m races are as follows:

Athletics

ValleyPrimary Schoolwill be sending a team of 24 students ages 8 to 9 years old to participate in a multi-event track and field competition inSt Martinon Friday 25th May, 2012.  Each child will participate in four activities namely long jump, ball throw, 60m and relay.  The activities will be held at the Alberic Richards Stadium in Sandy Ground St Martin.
