Welcome for Vallan Hodge

Coach Vallan, who represented the Anguilla Tennis Academy at the 2013 ING New York City Marathon, returned home today Tuesday 5th of November to a Hero’s welcome. Vallan was met as he disembarked the Funtime Express on the Blowing point Ferry Dock by Honorable Jerome Roberts and Honorable Evans Gumbs who greeted him with congratulations and a hearty thanks for his superb showing of endurance and for representing Anguilla so valiantly.

Upon exiting the Customs area Vallan was greeted by a jubilant crowd of children from the Anguilla Tennis Academy so happy to see and touch their Hero. They all surrounded him with excitement some with signs waving congratulating Vallan and cheering him on. The excitement was infectious and everyone a modest crowd of people reached out and congratulated Coach Vallan on a job well done.
