As part of the Science curriculum AT The Morris Vanterpool Primary School the Grade one class was actively involved in animal care. TAKING CARE OF OUR PETS was one of the Boys and Girls best topics for the term.
Moby, the pet parrot, was invited to the classroom as an innovative way of teaching and making learning interesting to students.
Each student had a chance to interact with the parrot. The students were shown how to feed and bathe the parrot. It was a delight to see him opened up his wings for his shower.
