Ms. Christine Rochester

The Board of Directors of the National Commercial Bank of Anguilla Ltd. (NCBA) is pleased to welcome Ms. Christine Rochester as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

NCBA’s new CEO, Ms. Rochester brings more than 25 years of banking and finance leadership experience across the Caribbean and the United States. She has built a reputation for driving growth, strengthening institutions, developing high-performing teams, and delivering customer-focused results. Prior to joining NCBA, Ms. Rochester served as Managing Director, Investments & Client Engagement with the Minority Business Accelerator in Cincinnati, where she managed a private equity investment portfolio and structured funding solutions for middle-market companies across six U.S. states. She also served as a Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO), helping a healthcare business strengthen financial performance and operational efficiency.

Previously, she was Vice President, Commercial Banking at JP Morgan Chase, providing banking solutions to corporate, public sector, and nonprofit clients. She also spent five years as General Manager, Corporate & Commercial Banking at JMMB Bank in Jamaica, where she led significant growth in the corporate loan portfolio and played a key role in launching the bank’s Business Banking segment. Her banking career began at Scotiabank Jamaica and RBC Jamaica (now Sagicor Bank Jamaica), where she developed extensive experience in commercial banking, credit, relationship management, and leadership.

Ms. Rochester holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a minor in Human Resource Management, from Northern Caribbean University (NCU). She has completed all sections of the CPA examination and has undertaken advanced training in banking, credit, leadership, and treasury management. She has served on several boards and works part-time as a Mergers & Acquisitions instructor.

Ms. Rochester is delighted to have joined the NCBA team and to lead the Bank into its next phase of growth. Having relocated to Anguilla to lead the bank full-time, she looks forward to working closely with the Board of Directors, Executive Management Team, staff, customers, and other stakeholders to further strengthen the bank’s customer focus, support economic development, and build on NCBA’s proud legacy as Anguilla’s indigenous bank. She is committed to strengthening NCBA’s future and reinforcing its role as a trusted partner in the island’s development and prosperity.

“On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I am very pleased to welcome Christine to Anguilla and to NCBA. Her extensive banking and financial services experience, strategic leadership capabilities and proven track record of delivering results across both regional and international markets will be valuable as NCBA enters its next phase of growth and transformation. The Board looks forward to working closely with Christine and the entire NCBA team to strengthen the Bank, improve performance and continue building an institution that serves the long-term interests of our customers, shareholders and the people of Anguilla,” said Mrs. Sharmaine Vaughan, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of NCBA.

The Board also wishes to express its sincere appreciation to Mr. Jerrick Evangelista, who served as Interim Chief Executive Officer for approximately ten months during the period leading up to Ms. Rochester’s appointment. The Board thanks Mr. Evangelista for his leadership, commitment, and dedicated service in providing continuity and stability to the Bank during this important transition.
