Portions of monies raised by the 2025 Dominic Boom Swim Challenge were presented to Anguilla’s Education Department as well as to the All Nations United Swim Club – a leading swimming entity on Anguilla on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026.
On Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, FLOW’s President of People, Dominic Boom, took on the challenging feat of swimming between Anguilla and St. Martin and back (round trip). One of the main objectives of his daring swim was to raise funds for the education of young people from the two islands.
The presentations were made at FLOW’s Conference Room where FLOW’s Commercial Manager, Jade Reymond highly commended Mr. Boom and the benefits that the funds contributed would mean for the two recipients.
“It was quite an exciting time for us in November, as Mr. Boom, whom we call Dom, was taking on the challenging swim in order to raise funds for education, but more importantly get our youngsters involved in technology, which is very important for us here at FLOW, as a telecom company.
“Dom was able to raise a little over US$10,000, and so today we have the opportunity to hand over a portion of the funds raised to our education and swimming partners,” she said.

“Anguilla is one of my favourite Caribbean islands,” Mr. Boom said. “I have swum in a few of the other Caribbean markets such as from the BVI to the USVI; from St. Lucia to Martinique; and between the islands of the Grenadines.
“But the Anguilla to St. Martin return venture was special in that I was able to cover two of our FLOW countries in one adventure. I find the people of Anguilla and St. Martin to be quite friendly, and the stretch of turquoise water between is so beautiful with the turtles and the tropical fish.”
He expressed his thanks to all those who supported him on the day of his swim, including Calypso Charters, the boat that accompanied him, his safety guide Ritchie Stevens of the All Nations United Swim Club, who did live stream minute-by- minute commentary of his progress during the journey back and forth.
He said he was able to raise US$10,040 for the adventurous swim, and he was also able to persuade the Board of Liberty Caribbean – the parent Company of FLOW – to double that amount. So in total, US$20,080 was raised.
“This is meaningful to me because I see how important connectivity is,” Mr. Boom said. “We, Liberty Caribbean, bring connectivity to the Caribbean. We want no one to be left behind. And that is why I am delight to contribute to the technological education of our children with safe internet access.”
Expressing appreciation for the contribution on behalf of the Department of Education was the new Chief Education Officer, Mrs. Tracelyn Hamilton. “Let me say how grateful the Department of Education is for this generous donation. We will use these funds to provide tools of technology for our students. We want our teachers to use these tools effectively in the classrooms and to ensure that our students learn well in this technological age.”
Along with Mrs. Hamilton was Mrs. Khonn Hazel-Fleming, Technology Integration Coach, who gave a synopsis of the educational technology used in the schools through the Inspire programme. She too expressed her thanks for the needy contribution. Also present on behalf of the Ministry of Education was Principal Assistant Secretary, Ms. Jocelyn Johnson, who also expressed her heartfelt appreciation.
Receiving on behalf of the All Nations United Swim Club was Mrs. Demi Lloyd-Proctor. “We would like to thank you very much, Mr. Boom, for this wonderful donation that you have provided to us. Donations like yours enable us to teach more of our children the skills of swimming and it will assist us in educating our children about swimming on a wider scope.” Along with the monetary contribution of US$2,060, the Swim Club was also gifted with special water camera.
The Department of Education received US$7,000.
Similar presentations were made in St. Martin as well, on Wednesday, August 26th.
