For many people, beauty is about looking good. For Anguillian makeup artist and beauty educator Manda, beauty is also about confidence, education and creating meaningful connections.
On Sunday, June 14, Manda, founder of Enhanced by Manda, hosted her first-ever Beauty Brunch, an intimate beauty experience designed to bring women together through makeup education, networking and personal development.
The event welcomed women from different backgrounds, including young professionals, entrepreneurs, and beauty lovers, for an afternoon of learning, connection, brunch, giveaways and hands-on beauty education.
Attendees learned how to create an everyday makeup look suitable for both work and special occasions while gaining practical tips and techniques from Manda’s ten years of experience in the beauty industry. More importantly, the event created a space where women could feel comfortable, supported and inspired.
One of the most memorable aspects of the Beauty Brunch was the sense of community that developed throughout the afternoon. Guests had the opportunity to meet new people, share experiences, exchange ideas and build genuine connections with like-minded women.
The event even attracted regional support, with one attendee traveling from St. Maarten specifically to be part of the experience, highlighting the growing interest in beauty education and women-focused events across the Caribbean.
“For me, this was about so much more than makeup,” said Manda. “I wanted women to leave feeling more confident, inspired and connected. Beauty has opened so many doors for me, and I wanted to create an experience where I could share what I’ve learned while bringing women together.”
Known for her work as a makeup artist, educator and entrepreneur, Manda has spent the past decade helping clients look and feel their best through bridal makeup, special event glam, beauty education and mentorship within the industry.
Guests left the event with gift bags, new beauty skills, professional makeup tips and lasting memories. Many expressed excitement about attending future events and continuing their beauty journey with Enhanced by Manda.
Following the success of the inaugural Beauty Brunch, Manda has already begun planning her next experience, tentatively titled Roses & Rosé, which will continue her mission of empowering women through beauty, confidence and community.
As Enhanced by Manda continues to grow, Manda hopes to create even more opportunities for women to learn, connect and invest in themselves through unique beauty-focused experiences.
