Chef Kerth Gumbs

Malliouhana Resort will wrap up their 2-year collaboration with Chef Gumbs as Culinary Director at the end of this season. Chef Gumbs was brought in to take Malliouhana’s culinary outlets to new heights, bringing his Anguillian roots and incredible talent and creativity to the table, and he has been extremely successful in doing so.

Throughout the engagement, Chef Gumbs has played a defining role in shaping the culinary identity of the property, contributing to its positioning as one of Anguilla’s leading dining destinations. Malliouhana’s restaurants and bars are more popular than ever, both with guests of the resort and locals alike.
When Malliouhana enters its next season, the property will transition to a full-time Culinary Director, Chef Kelston “Sweets” Connor, to support the new increased business levels, with a continued focus on nurturing and elevating local talent within the island’s hospitality community.

Chef Gumbs has been instrumental in supporting this evolution and remains proud of the results created during the partnership. He looks forward to seeing the continued development of the culinary programme and the growing contribution of local leadership to Anguilla’s broader gastronomic landscape.

Chef Gumbs continues to focus on his growing international portfolio and will be participating in pop-up collaborations at Malliouhana. You can enjoy his culinary expertise this week during the Anguilla Culinary Experience (ACE) at the 5 Senses Dinner at Malliouhana, Friday, May 15th.
