On behalf of the Anguilla Retired Persons Association (ARPA), I must say how grateful we are to Mr. Clive F Smith, of the Welfare Department, to have us keyed in on such a programme as the “Cell Phone and Computer Combo”.

This programme was made available to us, seniors, at the Comprehensive Learning Centre, CLC, by Ms. Sandra York-Gumbs, giving the seniors four class periods on December 10 – 11, 2020.

Two representatives from Digicel came to teach the use of the cell phone, while Ms. York-Gumbs directed the computer classes.
Everyone was eager to learn something new – and we surely did.

Digicel made a beautiful presentation of gift bags to everyone – along with a surprise gift of a cell phone that went to, winner Ms Jean Hodge, an ARPA member.

Thanks again to all the facilitators of this well-appreciated course – as we look forward to ever learning as we grow older.
