The Valley, Anguilla – November 27, 2020 – The Anguilla Football Association (AFA), the governing body of football on the island of Anguilla, announced today the launch of its new brand identity. The identity includes a new logo for the association, as well as a new badge to represent the Anguilla national teams.
Featuring the Anguillian symbol of three orange dolphins, the identity evokes the island’s Caribbean waters with the use of the turquoise blue and undulating waves.

“These new logos come at a time of great optimism for the association,” said Girdon Connor, the President of the AFA. “We have numerous initiatives in progress to raise the profile of the game on the island, and the modernised brand is symbolic of the progress we intend to make in the coming years.”

Created by American graphic designer Keith Laubhan, the new brand identity is intended to be unique within international football. “I was very inspired by the natural beauty of the island, and I hope that comes across when fans see the logos. Between the symbols in use and the colour palette, I don’t think there is anything quite like it in world football.”

The brand identity will see extensive use in the coming months as the Anguilla men’s national team prepares to kick off their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign, scheduled for this coming March.
