The Workshop which is part of the local Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) Programmes at The University of the West Indies (UWI) Open Campus Anguilla, was facilitated by Principal of Oasis HR Solutions and former Labour Commissioner, Mrs. Aunika Webster-Lake.

Manager for the UWI Open Campus BOTs, Dr. Phyllis Fleming Banks says that the UWI Open Campus is pleased to have been able to deliver this important session, given the expressed needs of the local stakeholders. “Participants not only gained insights into the new Labour Relations Act to update their Employee Manuals and Policies, they also benefitted from a number of scenarios and the experience and expertise of our dynamic Facilitator,” she said.

Participants have expressed their appreciation for the timely and informative session and have indicated their commitment to completing Part II scheduled for late August.

Persons interested in completing Part I or II of the Employment and the New Labour Relations Act Workshops or other local professional development programmes at the UWI Open Campus are encouraged to contact the Site at or telephone 497-8156 or email anguilla@open.uwi.edu.
