On 9th December, James Freddie Hughes of South Hill, businessman and sea captain, celebrated his 90th birthday among family and friends. At the occasion it was announced that Mr. Hughes is finalizing plans for the publication of a book entitled “James ‘Freddie’ Hughes a Man for All Seasons” being authored by Reverend Dr. Wycherley Gumbs, Superintendent Minister of the Anguilla Methodist Church. The book details his life paralleled to the history of Anguilla from 1930s to the present.
