THE VALLEY, Anguilla (April 29th, 2016) – In Anguilla, Flow has now replaced LIME as the official retail brand following the successful merger of Cable & Wireless Communications (CWC) and Columbus Communications.
The phased Caribbean launch has now reached the sun-baked shores of Anguilla, the 12th market in the region to welcome the new retail brand. The new dynamic Flow brand encapsulates everything that is positive about the Caribbean; the beauty of the region, the warmth of the people coupled with their passion and drive for growth and development in a culture of excellence. The new organisation brings together 150 years of Cable & Wireless’ legacy and tradition of expertise, with the innovation, agility and customer focused spirit of Columbus. Today, as the company bids a fond adieu to LIME and a warm hello to the dynamic, new Flow brand – customers can expect a new culture of innovation, superior customer service, and technical excellence, backed by investments in technology, people and community.
Flow will offer Anguilla a winning consumer proposition. Customers will be able to interact with the new products and services via a soon to be launched retail experience centre, the first of its kind on the island. With interactive features, self-help facilities and newly trained customer care agents, the store is designed to transform the entire customer experience, and is a major step in the Company’s bold vision of being #1 for customer service in the region. We are placing the customer at the heart of what we do and giving them what they value most – bang for the buck, quality and service.
“This is a proud moment for our company in Anguilla,” said Desron Bynoe, Country Manager. According to Bynoe, “We now have the opportunity to give our customers even more through new bundled packages that our converged advanced technology allows. More than that, the merger will ultimately bring new levels of affordability, innovation and customer service to the country. In fact, to mark the occasion of the brand launch, Flow has a special weekend promotional offer – Double Bubble, a bonus credit promotion for top ups of between EC$20 to EC$100. Customers will earn bonus minutes for on-net calls, valid for 7 days,” he added.
“Historically, C&W’s presence in the Caribbean has long been marked by a series of successful investment programmes, technological advancement, employer of choice designation, impactful nation-building initiatives including a long history of supporting culture, education and sports in Anguilla,” said the proud Country Manager.
Bynoe listed several of these investments on the island including, EC$5M network upgrade investment during 2014, the launch of 4GLTE (HSPA+) mobile data services in 2014. The Company has also invested in the community with fifteen + years as a veteran sponsor of the Anguilla Summer Festival and more than twenty six years as sponsor of the Primary School Spelling Bee Competition. The company also supports education initiatives via its Free Broadband connectivity programme for all Primary and Secondary school in the Anguilla.
