The members of our club have taken the position that due to the stagnation of football in Anguilla and the lack of any viable opportunities for our players, there is no benefit to participating in football at this time. In our view there is no interest in the development of football at any level.

The lack of any coherent plan of action as it relates to how football with be dealt with in the future and the general disregard of our concerns and contributions, by the Association, are chief among the grievances of our members.

We have voiced our concerns with the Association and we are hoping to have our grievances aired with a view to have this matter resolved in a timely manner.

With our departure from the AFA league and in keeping with our agenda of football development, please be assured that our players will be actively involved in football.

The Roaring Lions FC will continue to make our best efforts to ensure that football develops in the way it should for the benefit of our players and also in the interest of Anguilla as a footballing nation.

Roaring Lions FC, One Team! One Roar!
