RAPF REPORTS: Police Arrest 36 Year Old Male For Several Traffic Offences

On Sunday 12th April, 2015 at 2:50pm police responded to a report of a traffic accident in The Farington area.

Upon investigation it was revealed that the driver of the motor vehicle involved was a 36 year old male living in Stoney Ground. It was also discovered that he did not possess a drivers licence, was not covered by a policy of insurance neither did he have permission to be using the vehicle at the time.

As a result the offender was charged with driving without due care and attention, taking and conveyance, driving without a driver licence and driving when not covered by a policy of insurance.
The offender was taken before the Magistrate’s Court today Monday 13th April, 2015 where he was offered bail in the sum of EC $20,000.00 with one surety. As part of his bail conditions the offender is to report to The Valley Police Station every Monday and Friday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm and to surrender all travel documents.

The offender is due back in court on Friday 5th June, 2015 at 9:00am.
