MOVE Dance Festival is a production hosted by Klassique Academy of Dance and Performing Arts Anguilla (KADPAA) and has been running for the last two years. This year the academy has taken it a step further, well to the extreme to be exact, with our event dubbed, MOVE 3XTREME!
Held at the TOMAC Plaza on November 22nd and witnessed by a large inquisitive audience it was deemed to be one of the best dance festivals in Anguilla. The Academy delivered a wide array of talents with dance companies from Antigua (Shiva Dance), St. Maarten (National Institute of Arts), Curacao (Circo Majik), New Jersey (Metuchen Dance), our very own, Anguilla (FromWithinDance) and the hosts Klassique Academy of Dance & Performing Arts Anguilla all executing epic performances.
MOVE is a creative way for dancers in the region and international dance companies to connect and build the dance community beyond national boundaries and expose dance students to various styles, techniques and creative inspirations.
Any dance group can register to showcase their various talents as the event is held annually in October/November. For persons wishing to join KADPAA, early registration begins December 1, 2014.
