The Anguilla Hotel and Tourism Association is pleased to announce that it has now been officially advised by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association Educational Foundation, that Ms. Kim Blaze-Reid, Restaurant Supervisor at CuisinArt Golf Resort and Spa, is the 2014 AHTA recipient scholarship award.
Kim graciously received the news of her award from Mrs. Gilda Gumbs- Samuel, Executive Director of the Anguilla Hotel and Tourism Association who had been instrumental in facilitating her application for this award.

Ms. Blaze-Reid, a veteran in the hospitality industry, is currently pursuing an Associates Degree in Assoc. Science Hospitality & Tourism Mgmt at the Anguilla Community College, and her scholarship award of over four thousand United States Dollars will completely cover her student loan.

We congratulate Ms. Blaze on sustaining her passion and drive in balancing a full time job, with family life, while successfully pursuing her intensive studies. The AHTA graciously extends appreciation to the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Educational Foundation, for continuing its efforts to support the ongoing tourism related education in the region.
The Anguilla Hotel and Tourism Association is delighted to play an integral role in facilitating access and opportunities for enthusiastic tourism professionals to upgrade their knowledge and skill-sets, whilst supporting our pro-active nation-building partner, The Anguilla Community College.
