On Tuesday 10th December 2013, the inmates and staff of Her Majesty’s Prison received a special treat when local Gospel artistes Gershwin Lake and the Parables performed an inspiring Christmas concert for the inmates.

Shariffa Wallace, Rehabilitation and Development Coordinator said “We are most appreciative of the time taken by these artistes and musicians to share their musical gifts with us and for the uplifting spirit that was brought to our establishment on Tuesday afternoon. We were very impressed with their willingness to come to HM Prison and their compassion and interest in the wellbeing of our prisoners was very heartfelt. We are grateful to all the members of the group for supporting our rehabilitative activities and particularly to Gershwin Lake for sharing his amazing talent with us.”
