Clarissa Lloyd

Clarissa Lloyd, Terrestrial and Wetlands Conservation Officer at the Anguilla National Trust, has been chosen to participate in the Caribbean-Emerging Wildlife Conservation Leaders (C-EWCL) Programme.

The C-EWCL is a newCaribbeanbranch of the US-based initiative that was launched in 2005. The EWCL is an opportunity for young up-and-coming conservation professionals to gain skills and experience working with other conservation leaders. During the two years, participants work in teams to develop, implement, and evaluate a wildlife conservation project in the region. It is a competitive application process with only 12 individuals chosen to participate in each two-year programme. The programme begins with an initial week-long training exercise at the end of April inAntigua.
