Proceeds from the police week of activities held earlier this year has been dispersed to various groups on the island.
On Wednesday morning the Commssioner of Police Rudolph Proctor presented $300 US to Director Malcolm Webster of the Seventh Day Ambassadors Pathfinders Club. The money will be used for the purchase of equipment for the Club.
Mr Proctor also presented several balls including basketballs to Mr Louis Price. The Commissioner said Mr Price has allowed the officers to use his facility as well as members of the community and it’s always good to give back to say thank you.
The Commissioner also donated a Laser Jet Printer to the Orelia Kelly Primary School. Mr Proctor noted that the police uses the school for its Spelling B Competition and chairs for the police week of activities.
Deputy Principal Ms Joan Fleming received the printer on behalf of the School.
