“The Governor’s Office announced on 26 March that The Governor had received a letter from Joan Walley MP, Chair of the Environmental Audit Committee of the House of Commons. She has requested that he answer a number of questions about environmental issues in Anguilla. Since many of the questions touch on matters that are in the purview of the elected Ministers, the House of Assembly, the Attorney-General and other stakeholders, the Governor has, with the Committee’s agreement, circulated the letter to the Minister of the Environment, other members of Executive Council, the Leader of the Opposition and other stakeholders.
Any person or institution with a legitimate interest in the letter may contact the Governor’s office for further details.”
