| The electricity supply in the Stoney Ground area was briefly interrupted on Tuesday as a result of one of the high tension utility poles catching fire. |
The pole is located between the Caracasbaai Supermarket and Max Printing. The fire was quickly out by firemen from the Anguilla Fire and Rescue Service.  ADVERTISEMENT
It was not clear what caused the fire, but a spokesman for the Anguilla Electricity Company was of the view that it could have resulted from corrosion or a power surge. |
