“Ricketts knows how to coddle even the most demanding of travelers with white glove service,” writes the magazine’s influential consumer correspondent, Wendy Perrin.

(Anguilla, February 25, 2013) Every year, the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler magazine rates travel specialists all over the world, including the experts who rent and manage luxury villas.
This year, only 41 villa specialists made the cut.
One of them was Sue Ricketts, co-founder with her husband Robin, of the Anguilla Luxury Villa Collection, a division of Ricketts & Associates, the island’s premier source for luxury rental villas.
As Perrin puts it, “Her 30-plus years living on Anguilla translate into knowledge key to a villa renter…”
That plus the Ricketts’s remarkable, all-round experience in travel and tourism, especially in the Caribbean. In a long career, they have planned and supervised the creation of several highly successful and award-winning resorts, including two on Anguilla – the world-class Malliouhana and Cap Juluca, where they also trained the staff and marketed the resorts to the world.
For the past 25 years they have also applied their knowledge and experience to renting and managing a range of villas, from moderate luxury to a 22-bedroom estate with signing privileges at a nearby 5-star resort.
“The Conde Nast award is very gratifying but I could never have arrived at this point without tremendous support from Robin and our dedicated team ,” notes Ricketts. “Together, we have succeeded in creating an overall portfolio of more than 80 dream retreats (with an eye-popping, ultra-luxurious newcomer set to debut next year).
Regular winter rates begin at around $7,245 a week for four guests. That’s without special offers, which can bring costs down significantly – even in winter, depending on dates. All you have to do is ask for last-minute bargains on a villa by villa basis.
