In yet another thriller at the Football stadium the Attackers FC and Kicks United FC excited the equally divided crowd with Football a stunning display of football brilliance.

Both teams had something to prove, for the Attacker they wanted to confirm that their win in the League was no fluke and for Kicks FC they wanted to show that they are the dominant team.

After an initial period where both teams had golden opportunities, it was Leroy Gumbs goal in the 7 minute which sent a resounding message to Kicks United FC. For the next fifteen minutes both teams had golden opportunities but in the 22nd minute Kick equalized with a stunner from Kenny Williams. Two minutes later in the 24th minute it was the brilliance again from Kenny Williams who put the Kicks United FC ahead 2 to 1.

For the next 34 minutes both teams had opportunities but it took a penalty kick by Darius Lantan of the Attackers FC in the 58th minute to equalize the scores 2 -2.

This equalizer gave both teams an impetus which lifted the level of play. It finally took a corner kick and uncertainty in the Kicks penalty area for the Attackers to go ahead 3 goals to 2. In what some spectators considered a most unfortunate incident when Kenny William of Kicks United FC score an own goal in the 88th minute as a result of relentless pressure from the Attackers strikers.

So the Attackers captured the Knock out Championship to add to the League Championship they won last month.

The President’s Cup is schedule to start this weekend and the BIG question is will the Kicks United FC come back and win one or will the Attackers make it a 3 peat.

Don’t miss this action at the Football stadium.
