POLICE REPORT: 13 SERIOUS CRIMES: FEBRUARY 20-27

The Police Report showed that thirteen serious crimes were committed in Anguilla during the period February 20-27.

Of that number one was a burglary at Stoney Ground. The stolen items included jewellery and money.

ADVERTISEMENT

There were six reports of theft at North Side, West End, Stoney Ground, Rey Hill and South Hill. The stolen items included an Ipad, electricity, sunglasses, an electric drill, a garden hose and concrete blocks.

Three incidents of indecent assault and two of rape were reported and there was one report of fraud.

Ten arrests were made during the period as follows: three males for indecent assault; two males on suspicion of rape; two males on default warrants; one male for breach of bail conditions; one male for causing actual bodily harm; and one male to prevent a breach of the peace.

Six traffic accidents were reported.
