POLICE REPORT 17 CRIMES JANUARY 23-30

There were seventeen serious crimes committed in Anguilla during the period January 23-30, according to the Police Report.

The offences included seven burglaries in The Valley, North Valley, Rey Hill and The Forest.

The stolen items included a laptop computer, a bicycle, kitchen cabinet and kitchen sink, a ceiling fan and a sum of money.

There were ten thefts in The Valley, North Side, Blowing Point, East End, The Quarter and Rey Hill.

Among the stolen items were a car stereo, cellular phones, concrete blocks, a car tyre, coconuts, fowls and money.

Four persons were arrested as follows: one male for driving under the influence of alcohol; two males for theft; and one male for possession of cannabis.

There were seven traffic accidents reported.
