On behalf of the Government and people of Anguilla, and on my own behalf, I extend sincere congratulations to you and all the members of your Concerned Citizen’s Movement Government on your victory at the recent polls in Nevis.

Your assumption of the reigns of leadership is a clear indication that the people of Nevis demonstrated an overwhelming demand and desire for a new direction in the governance of their island nation.
I believe it is important that as Caribbean leaders we continue to forge the bonds of friendship, trade and mutual collaboration among our peoples as a means of overcoming the challenges besetting our region.

Please therefore accept my best wishes for the future, and all prosperity and success to your administration and may God continue to bless you and the people of Nevis.

Sincerely

Hubert B. Hughes

Chief Minister of Anguilla
