Recently minted professional bodybuilder, Mr. Verdine Connor has been featured on the poster of the 2013 rendition of the Fitness Universe Weekend and by doing so, placed Anguilla on the Bodybuilding and Fitness map.
The http://www.universeweekend.com/ website along with posters around the USA shows the very ripped Verdine alongside four other class champs.
Mr. Verdine Connor has been a mainstay of the Anguilla Bodybuilding scene for many years having won the IFBB Anguilla Bodybuilding Championship on multiple occasions. He has done well in the recent IFBB Central American and Caribbean championships where he placed 2nd runner up in 2011 and 1st runner up in 2012.
He is the first Anguillian athlete to compete in the Arnold Schwarzegger Sports Festival in Columbus Ohio which is the largest sporting event in the world with the Olympics trailing behind in participation. This year will be twenty five years this event has been in existence.
Verdine won his pro card at the 2012 MuscleMania that was held in Miami besting athletes from the world over and bringing the championship back to Anguilla.
Verdine now runs his fitness consultancy aptly called, PROdine Body Design & Consultancy.
