
The Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport’s redevelopment is well underway, with significant progress across infrastructure, passenger amenities, and airside operations.
The Government of Anguilla has provided the latest ‘Significant Milestones Achieved’ updates.
Building & Infrastructure – Exterior stucco nearing completion; Parking lot 85% complete; Power energized to the main distribution panel; Elevator installed; HVAC system scheduled to be operational shortly.
Structural & Finishes – Roof structure complete, with final waterproofing in progress; Windows and doors fully installed, securing the building envelope; Major carpentry and canopy works approaching completion; Sheetrock and ceiling installation 85% complete, with painting and finishing works underway.
Passenger Experience Enhancements – Pre-Board Screening (PBS) area outfitted with state-of-the-art CTX screening machines and a body scanner, ensuring efficiency, speed, and the highest levels of security; Space designed to accommodate up to three security lanes, supporting future growth; A modern mezzanine public lounge, featuring a bar and seating, will provide passengers and visitors with a welcoming space overlooking the runway.
Airside & Apron Works – Drainage system 85% complete with advanced trench drains installed; Floodlight masts and control systems in place to enhance visibility and safety; Apron works 95% complete in Phase One, preparing for aircraft parking at opening.
