Government Officials, Members and Staff of the Governor’s Office, bidding Farewell

Last Thursday, June 1st, 2023, Her Excellency Governor Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam left Anguilla after a two-and-a-half-year stint of service.
Many persons, including members of the public and civil servants gathered at the Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport to see her off and to say good bye. A police guard of Honour and The Police Band were also in attendance to ceremonially bid her farewell.
Commissioner of Police, Robert Clark presented her with a plaque to thank her for her work done on island.
“We wish you every success in the Turks and Caicos. Our loss is definitely their gain,” said Commissioner Clark, as he handed her the memento of gratitude.
Before being escorted to her plane, she uttered her last words to the people of Anguilla.
“This is a precious, precious island. It has been my sincere honour to serve as the Governor of Anguilla. I wish nothing but the best for Anguilla, and I will continue to hold Anguilla and its people dear to my heart,” Governor Daniel-Selvaratnam said.

She flew to Nevis for a short vacation before her journey to the UK to receive her next governorship assignment in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
