U-20 WOMEN’S NATIONAL TEAM READY FOR CONCACAF WOMEN’S UNDER-20 QUALIFIERS

The Anguilla Under-20 Women’s National Team left the island on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th April, 2023 for Nicaragua, to compete in the CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Qualifiers.
Team Anguilla will be competing in Group E against Jamaica on April 14th, Honduras on April 16th and Bermuda on April 18th.

In preparation for their Qualifying matches, the Anguilla Football Association hosted two friendly matches on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th April, with the Under-20 Women National Team taking on St. Maarten. Anguilla defeated St. Maarten 6 – 0 in both matches.
The 2023 CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship Qualifiers features thirty-two (32) teams split into six total groups, with two groups consisting of six teams and four groups with five teams each.
Each team will play one match against all its group opponents in round robin play. The winner of each group will advance to the 2023 CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship in the Dominican Republic, which will take place May 24th to June 3rd.
