The Anguilla Football Association (AFA) has announced the appointment of Mr. Ben Gooden as the Head Women’s And Elite Academy Coach. In his capacity, he will be responsible for the overall development of the Under20 (U20) and Senior Women National Teams.
Mr. Gooden will work closely with the AFA Executive and Technical Director on educational and development programs and team average models.
Previous to coming to the AFA, Ben has fourteen years of experience working across all age ranges with both male and female players.
He was the former coach of Chorley Women FC located in Blackburn Lancashire and the former coach on the English FA’s Regional Emerging Talent Programme.
Mr. Gooden has experience as a Women’s Technical Director of the Athletics International Academy in Trinidad and Tobago and also experience in being a Technical Skills Coach at the Manchester City’s Development Centre.
