Gender Affairs Anguilla is observing Men’s Week from Sunday, 19th – Saturday, 25th June 2022. The week is being celebrated under the theme “Men in Hospitality: Leadership, Service and Commitment to Anguilla’s # 1 Industry”. Men’s Week 2022 focuses on men in our community who are leaders in the tourism sector, giving of their service and commitment over the years.
The week of activities allow our 2022 honourees to engage with the community as well as to highlight their dedication and service to the industry. The nomination process for the 2022 Men’s Week honourees included a public call for nominations and final selection by a committee. The committee comprised Mrs. Hyacinth Bradley, Mr. Kenroy Herbert and Mrs. Sherille Hughes.

Men’s Week 2022 began with the honourees worshipping at the Christian Fellowship Church in Blowing Point on Sunday, 19th June 2022. The week of activities include radio interviews, a Men’s Forum, Boyz to Men – Etiquette and Dining Skills session for young men, and a Hike and Breakfast Fundraiser in support of the Hospitality and Travel 360 clubs at the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School. The week of activities is possible through partnerships with Cap Juluca, a Belmond Hotel; Malliouhana, an Auberge Resort; AXA Hike Life; Tradition Sailing Charters; Tropical Distributors; and the Anguilla Community Action Network.
