ANGUILLA AMATEUR NETBALL ASSOCIATION FEATURES VILLAGE LEAGUE MATCHES

On Tuesday 7th June, the Anguilla Amateur Netball Association staged its first in a series of “Village League” matches which will extend to Sunday 12th June.
Prayer for the series was offered by Mr. Winston Duncan, and Michael Martin Jr. played the National Song on steel pan.

The first playoff game in the series saw Stoney Ground defeat Island Harbour in a one-sided game, 38 to 10, topping the table. The second game was much closer, with The Valley defeating West End 27 to 19.

On Thursday, 9th June, the tournament continues with The Valley vs. Island Harbour, followed by The Farrington making its first appearance against West End.

The Association invites the general public to come out for the weekend at the Webster’s Park netball court and witness netball played at its best. The games will start at 6:00 p.m.
