TWELVE SECURITY OFFICERS FROM JTR SECURITY BENEFIT FROM INTENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAMME FACILITATED BY THE WELLNESS CENTRE

Twelve officers from the local security firm JTR Security were on Saturday evening (April 23rd, 2022) presented with Certificates of Participation following the conclusion of an intensive training programme facilitated by the Wellness Centre.

The participants were: Mr. Kenrick Palmer, Mr. Michael Xavier, Ms. Milagross President, Mr. Orvil Samms, Ms. Victoria Rogers, Mr. Clive Grant, Mr. Devon Mills, Mr. William Newton, Mrs. Ann-Marie James-Brown, Ms. Glenesha Gayle, Ms. Avis Blackwood and Mrs. Sherrel Wilson.

The training modules, spread over six sessions, comprised Communication, Behaviour Management, Being a Security Officer, Team Building and Stress Management.

Facilitators were Proprietor of the Wellness Centre, Mrs. Marilyn Hodge; retired public servant and now Minister of Home Affairs the Hon. Kenneth Hodge; and retired Police Superintendent Mr. Carl Ruan.

Mrs. Hodge commended the participants for attending and participating in the programme. She encouraged them to utilise the skills learnt in the execution of their duties, and help empower other employees of the security firm.

Mrs. Hodge thanked the owner and manager of JTR Security, Mr. Franklyn Rogers, who was present at the closing ceremony for choosing the Wellness Centre for a third time, to deliver training to his officers. She wished the owner and his employees all the best in their future endeavours.
