The Ministry and Department of Education wish to inform all education stakeholders of their decision to cancel Test of Standards Examinations for 2022.

Having recently completed Diagnostic Testing of all grades at the primary level, the Department of Education will now utilise the data garnered from these assessments to focus on a new learning recovery strategy. More details of the Diagnostic Tests’ results will be shared with the public within the coming weeks.
The Department of Education recognises the challenges posed by the occurrences of the past two years and the resulting learning loss. Stakeholders are assured that every effort will continue to be made to bridge all learning gaps while taking the holistic well-being of teachers and students into account.
The Ministry and Department of Education are grateful for the support and cooperation of all education stakeholders throughout this crucial transitionary period.
