The Central Electoral Office wishes to advise the categories of voters listed below and who are duly registered in the District 3 (Valley North) Register of Voters that they may apply to the Supervisor of Elections in Form 22 for a special card enabling them to vote at Advance Polls. These polls will be conducted on 23rd May, 2022 at the House of Assembly between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm. For the avoidance of doubt and in accordance with Section 60(2) of the Elections Act, 2019 and the Elections (Amendment) Act, 2020 the following persons may apply:
1. a police officer
2. a customs officer
3. an immigration officer
4. a doctor
5. a nurse
6. an emergency medical technician
7. a person employed in the central electoral
office
8. an election officer
9. the physically disabled
10. a person 70 years or older
All persons applying to vote in Advance Polls must have a Voters Registration ID Card. The application form is available at the Central Electoral Office and can also be downloaded from the Central Electoral Office website at http://www.gov.ai/electoraloffice/ .
The deadline date to apply for the Advance Polls Card is 15th April, 2022.
