L-R: Mr Chris Richardson, Mrs Renuka Harrigan, Mr Simon Fricker and Ms Kyra Gumbs

This year marks the 15th anniversary of service provided by Arijah Children’s Foundation towards Anguillian children of special needs. As a commemoration of this achievement, Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club has generously donated $5,000 towards providing critical resources for Foundation’s children and families around the island. The donation will be directly applied towards providing physical therapy, medical equipment and urgently needed caregiver and respite services for families of young adults with special needs.

It was 15 years ago that the Arijah Children’s Foundation received its first donation from the previous hotel ownership, therefore, this renewed partnership with Aurora Anguilla marks a new dawn in the relationship between both entities – and one that Renuka Harrigan, Founder and President, is grateful for in order to continue the Foundation’s mission of serving Anguilla’s children with special needs.

It is with tremendous pride that the Foundation is active today, 17 years later, serving the same children who have now become youths and young adults. The support of Anguilla’s businesses, organisations, individuals and government departments is essential to the prosperity of the Foundation’s recipients – therefore, it is with much gratitude and appreciation that Ms. Harrigan, on behalf of the organization, says, “Thank you, Aurora Anguilla! We appreciate your partnership and look forward to applying your generosity towards the prosperity of our special needs children.”
