MONDAY, FEBRUARY 7 2021 – The Honourable Dee-Ann Kentish-Rogers donates portable whiteboards and bluetooth speakers valued at USD $1,210.00 to all six government Primary Schools of Anguilla.
Prior to the reopening of the schools in 2021, the Minister of Social Development and Education made a commitment to make a personal contribution to the institutions with supplies from their list of needs. However, with schools having resumed virtually in September of 2021, the donations were only made on Friday 4th, February 2022, following the successful commencement of face-to-face learning on the island.

The Honourable Kentish-Rogers stated that with the desire to have students experience enhanced learning through engaging activities, she was able to make her choices for donations from the accumulated list.
One magnetic mobile 48×36″ whiteboard with adjustable height and 360° reversible double-sided dry were donated to Valley Primary School and Adrian T Hazel Primary School each. Two JBL waterproof bluetooth portable speakers were donated to The Valley Primary School, and one to each of the following schools: Alwyn Allison Richardson Primary School, Island Harbour/Vivien Vanterpool Primary School, Morris Vanterpool Primary School, Orealia Kelly Primary School and Adrian T Hazel Primary School.
The Minister of Education reiterates her commitment to continue to do as much as she can to improve the quality of education in Anguilla.
