Her Excellency the Governor, Ms. Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam, has announced, on her official Facebook page, that while some health care offices are functioning out of The Valley Polyclinic, the Unit will not be operational for patient use until next month. The announcement reads:

The Health Authority of Anguilla (HAA) corporate unit and Primary Health Care (Health Promotion and Nutritionist) have moved their offices into the second floor of the brand-new polyclinic in The Valley.

CEO of the Health Authority, Ms. Maeza Demis-Adams, said: “It has been a long-time vision of the Health Authority to have a primary healthcare centre in the Central Health District, where primary health needs across the life cycle can be met. The completion of this building is a huge step in our plans to re-vitalise Primary Health Care in Anguilla.”
The main clinic, dental unit, pharmacy, and physiotherapy units, are scheduled to open to Central Health District in early February.
