The Anguilla Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACOCI) is pleased to partner with the Anguilla Community College (ACC) for its GIFT A SKILL campaign. The GIFT A SKILL campaign is a systematic way for small businesses and institutions to support Anguillians, especially youth, who may be interested in tertiary education but are unable to fund the full cost of their education. GIFT A SKILL is also an opportunity for businesses and individuals to support training for their staff, their loved ones, or any person in the community.
On Thursday 3rd February, the President of ACOCI’s Executive Board, Mrs. Vida Lloyd -Richardson, and other members of the Board, presented a cheque to the Anguilla Community College for the Gift a Skill campaign. The cheque was presented to the President of ACC, Dr. Kenneth Williams, and the Registrar, Ms. Carla Harris.
Dr. Williams shared: “Partnering with ACOCI has been very interesting as ACOCI appears to have a very clear understanding of the needs of Anguilla. As we relate to them, they help to sharpen our understanding of what we should provide to the general Anguillian community.
“We are pleased to be in partnership with ACOCI in this venture to support one of our students who is pursuing Business Entrepreneurship with a Marketing focus. This is important in trying to strengthen Anguilla, and ACOCI has been at the forefront of strengthening Anguilla in terms of Industry. It is a real pleasure to partner with ACOCI.”
