COVID-19 Dashboard Update – February 16 2022

As of Wednesday February 16th, 2022 at 6am Anguilla has 21 active cases of COVID-19.

Since the previous update (14 Feb), there have been 9 new cases and 7 recoveries recorded. There is one person currently hospitalized in the isolation ward.
The Ministry reminds persons to continue to reduce the risk by:
–
Wearing a mask over the nose and mouth when in public indoor spaces and in multi-generational households with mixed vaccination status
– Persons with underlying risk conditions for severe COVID-19 complications are advised to avoid social gatherings.
-If you are unwell, get tested.
-Practice physical distancing from others; avoid handshaking/hugs and close contact with others; stay 3 ft apart from others at all time
– Practice hygienic measures such as the washing of hands and cleaning of high-touch surfaces
-Get vaccinated or receive your booster dose at the polyclinics. Please be guided by the weekly vaccination schedule.
