Digicel is again sponsoring the Miss Mature Show, the highlight of Festival D Noel, in the sum of EC$7,000. The cultural activities will commence on the grounds of the Old East End School on Thursday, December 20.

Chairman of the festival, Jerome Roberts, said the programme of activities would comprise the following: a bingo evening on Thursday, December 20; an evening of music by the Movements Band on Friday, December 21; the Digicel Miss Mature Show, featuring six participants, on Saturday, December 22; and a domino competition on Sunday, December 23, (sponsored by Tropical Flower), followed by a treat for children at 3.00 p.m.

Mr. Roberts said the proceeds from Festival D Noel would go towards a feeding programme at the Morris Vanterpool School. He expressed thanks to Digicel for continuing its sponsorship of the main festival event.

Colwayne Pickering, speaking on behalf of Digicel, said the company was delighted to continue its partnership with the East End community and Festival D Noel. “This is because we see the importance of the whole cultural aspect of developing people especially when it comes to the things that matter the most, and at such a special time like Christmas,” he said.
