We welcome you, 2022!
We eagerly await new beginnings – family reunions, new jobs, healthier bodies and, hopefully, goodbye to Covid. But more importantly, we look forward to having a deeper relationship with Jesus!
We are reminded in Hebrews 13:8 that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Though we do not know what the future holds, rest assured that we know who holds tomorrow, and as untiring as it may seem, we have that blessed hope that the God who has been with us throughout the past year will continue to be with us throughout this new year.
Therefore, let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid, for though it may not always be sunshine and clear skies all year, there is coming a day when there will be no need for resolutions because we will be in a perfect world. Jesus reminds us in John 14: 1-3 that He has gone to prepare a place for us so that when He comes again, He will receive us unto Himself that, where He is, there we may be also. Until that day comes, let us live in preparation as we make the best of this new year by keeping close to Jesus.
