SHIRLEY HUGHES

Congratulations to Ms. Shirley Hughes who retired from the Anguilla Public Service on the 26th November, 2021. Ms. Hughes gave 32 years of sterling service to the Immigration Department and more widely to the Government and people of Anguilla.

Ms. Hughes was a dedicated, reliable and committed Immigration Officer who loved her job and colleagues. She was certainly an officer who had Immigration at heart and always wanted the best for the department. Her work ethics, and positive energy will be remembered fondly – she has left behind lasting memories. We wish her a Happy and Healthy retirement.

“Don’t act your age in retirement. Act like the inner young person you always have been.”
