Anguilla has recorded the passing of two nationals who were laid to rest on November 6 and November 7, 2021.

The first was the late Lindley Alphonse Harrigan. He was born on June 27, 1946, and passed away on October 4, 2021. He was a member of the prominent Harrigan family from The Valley and East End.
He was born in Curacao and spoke many languages. In the 1980s he served on the staff of the Central Bank of the Netherlands, and for a brief period he managed the Central Bank’s office in Sint Maarten. He later retired in Curacao, following which he took up residence in Anguilla.

The Service of Thanksgiving for him was held at the Ebenezer Methodist Church, in The Valley, where he was an active member. The Officiating Ministers were: Rev. Vincia Celestine; Rev. Dunstan Richardson; Rev. Wilmoth Hodge; and Rev. Candis Niles.
The other Anguillian national, who was laid to rest, was the late Mr. Wilmoth Silred Ruan of White Ground, East End. He was born on December 27, 1944, and passed away on October 17, 2021. He was a popular builder on the island.
