MAKANA FERRIES: CAPTAIN NAMED, ADDITIONAL CREW NEEDED

Blues & Blues Ltd. has announced that Dwayne Hodge of Anguilla will be the captain of the Makana Ferry. Mr. Hodge has over 27 years of experience in the maritime industry, serving as Captain of the Tee-Zech Ferry from 2000-2008, Harbour Master for the Anguilla Air & Sea Port Authority from 2008-2015, and Captain of the Niki V Ferry from 2015 to 2020.
Sabans and Statians are encouraged to apply for positions as Engineer, First Mates, Second Mates, and Deckhands. Local agents in Saba, Statia, St. Maarten and St. Kitts will represent the Makana ferry service by offering on-island logistic support as well as passenger and ticketing services. More information on ticket fares and route schedules will be available soon.

For over 30 years, Blues & Blues Ltd has provided ferry services between Anguilla and St. Maarten, and cargo shipping services between Anguilla, St. Maarten, Saba, Statia, and St. Kitts. The company and its affiliates understand the importance of maritime connectivity for the overall development of island nations and look forward to championing these new routes which will serve to improve regional tourism by increasing access to Saba and Statia.
