The University of the West Indies (UWI) Open Campus Anguilla will conclude the 2020/2021 academic year with its annual Certificate Presentation and Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 4:30 p.m., at the Church of God Holiness, Pope Hill.
During the Ceremony, some 121 public and private sector participants, in the University’s local Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) Programmes, will receive their official certificates for Supervisory Management Levels I and II, Advanced Conversational Spanish, Health, Safety and Nutrition, Working with Family & Community, Mastering English, Finance for Non-Finance Managers, Care for The Elderly, Introduction to Counselling, Introduction to Human Resource Management, The Law and You: Labour Relations, Protocol & Diplomacy and Basic Web Development and Design.
Five (5) Students, Ronnie Francis, Faustina Nanton, Oneeka Elias-Gillis, Janique Payne and Elaine Wilson-Alexander, will be awarded Programme Completion Certificates for successfully fulfilling the requirements for the Certificate in Early Childhood Education Care and Development Programme.
The Ceremony will also include the induction of the new Executive Members of the Anguilla Chapter of the UWI Open Campus Guild of Students, and the celebration of the 35 online degree students who were named to the Campus Honour Roll in Semester One 2020/2021.
The UWI’s 2020/2021 academic year closes on 31st July. Persons have until July 31st to apply for the online degree programmes for Semester One 2021/2022, and September 15th to apply for the Semester One local Continuing and Professional Education Programmes.
