The International Congress of Oral Implantologists is a tax-exempt, non-profit, dental educational organization. It is dedicated to communicating scientific knowledge and improving the clinical practice of dental implantology worldwide. It conducts numerous scientific symposia each year and supports research through its Implant Dentistry Research and Education Foundation (IDREF).

Dr Connor is an Anguillian born son of the soil who has served the Anguillian community by providing them with specialized dentistry and also a full range of comprehensive dental services since 1990. He practices out of his office Centre for Dental and Facial Aesthetics at the Anguilla Professional Complex in The Valley. Additionally, he maintains practices in the US Virgin Islands (St Thomas and St Croix) and the British Virgin Islands (Tortola). The addition of the Implant aspect to the practice is a service that Dr Connor has been providing since 1997, along with his original specialty of Orthodontics (braces). Recently, Dr Connor has begun offering laser periodontal (gum) surgery as another aspect of his specialty practice.
Dr Connor says of the award “The award received is a validation for all the hard work and persistence in continuing education over the many years and I am very proud to be the recipient of such a distinction. “

Dr Connor is one of only five (5) persons in the Caribbean who have obtained this level of recognition in Implant Dentistry from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
